Welcome to Floret
Take a behind-the-scenes tour of Floret’s design studio and cutting garden. Learn about Erin’s journey with flowers and discover the importance of developing a regular creative practice.
MODULE 2
Sourcing & Caring for Cut Flowers
Explore different flower sourcing options. Master essential techniques for harvesting and caring for cut flowers to maximize vase life, conditioning flowers, and storing them long term.
MODULE 3
Design Fundamentals
Understand the fundamentals of natural floral design, including essential tools, foam-free mechanics, vessel choice, and proper ingredient selection. Learn how to make lush, loose, garden-style arrangements that stay in place and last.
MODULE 4
Understanding Color
Approach color through the lens of nature and discover unexpected ingredients that will take your designs to the next level. Learn how to combine different colors to create beautiful, cohesive designs.
MODULE 5
Everyday Flowers
Master six essential arrangement styles that you’ll come back to time and again. Learn to create simple vignettes, en masse arrangements, posies, hand-tied market bouquets, and different wrapping presentations.
MODULE 6
Wedding & Event Flowers
Learn key techniques for wedding and event work, including two styles of bridal bouquets and how to wrap them, a lush centerpiece, a grand statement piece, and wearable flowers, including boutonnieres, corsages, and flower crowns.
MODULE 7
Time Management & Efficiency
Discover proven systems and processes that reduce stress and maximize productivity. Learn how to develop an event timeline, streamline bouquet production to save time, properly package and transport finished arrangements, and be prepared for any situation with a well-stocked event emergency kit.
MODULE 8
Flower Photography
Master techniques to beautifully capture your bouquets and arrangements to build a portfolio that attracts your ideal clients. Understand natural lighting, composition, simple styling techniques, and go-to props for showcasing your work. Explore photography gear to learn what’s right for your situation.
MODULE 9
Business & Marketing
Gain an understanding of small business basics to get started on the right foot. Learn how to effectively tell your story and market your services through a professional-looking website and on social media. Understand the different sales channels and business models available to choose what’s best for you. Learn how to fairly and profitably price your work, while also educating clients about the value of local flowers.

Designer Profiles
Find inspiration and insights from in-depth interviews with leading floral designers. Tour their studios, learn about their creative practices, and hear their sage advice firsthand.
